Rennes-les-Bains

Rennes-les-Bains (Occitan: Les Banhs de Rènnas) is a commune in the Aude department in southern France with around 300 inhabitants. In summer many visitors come to enjoy the special atmosphere. 

Bathers have enjoyed the natural hot spring waters for thousands of years - they are still used today as a cure for many health problems.
Visitors enjoy the beautiful walks in nature, to the neighbouring villages Serres (Red Earth path, Pech Cardou), Sougraignes (source of the Sals river) and Bugarach (Mount Bugarach, beautiful lake ,...). 

Rennes-les-Bains is located in the micro-tourist region of Razès in the valley of the River Sals, with its source  5 kilometers away at Sougraigne.
